Trade mission to Miami, USA
Monday 9th – Thursday 12th February 2025
In 2022, bilateral trade between the UK and Florida totaled $5.8B, growing 119% over the preceding five years and making the UK Florida’s 8th largest trading partner. The lion’s share of that trade roared through Miami that year – some $4.89B.
Miami is more than just a gateway—it is the beating heart of international trade and logistics. Its strategic advantages go beyond geography, offering businesses unparalleled opportunities to thrive in the U.S. market, expand their global reach, and drive profitability. Miami is not just a port of entry—it is a global nexus of commerce, innovation, and opportunity. With world-class infrastructure, a business-friendly trade environment, and a workforce built for international success, Miami is the strategic advantage companies need to navigate today’s complex trade landscape.
Miami is a key point of entry for Scottish goods and services into the USA, both to serve the local Florida market, and as a gateway to other markets throughout the USA. As well as a gateway to access emerging markets in Latin America and the Caribbean.
