In 2018, Sweden exported $162B and imported $160B, resulting in a positive trade balance of $2.37B. In 2018, Sweden's exports per capita were $16k and its imports per capita were $15.7k.

Västerås is in central Sweden in the province of Västmanland, only 62 miles west of Stockholm. With fantastic opportunities in Railway Technology, Health and Med-Tech, Automation, and Energy. The cities central location makes it one of the logistical centres in Sweden or the densely populated region of Mälardalen. With excellent infrastructure in highways, railways and waterways, it acts as a excellent distribution centre for companies in the area. 

The Swedish economy is very open to foreign trade, which represented 89% of its GDP in 2018 (World Bank). Automobile and petroleum products were among Sweden's top exports (5.9% and 5.1% respectively), followed by medicine, auto parts and telecommunication devices. Automobile and petroleum products were also among Sweden's top imports (7% and 6% respectively).
